From the moment I learned about trading I became obsessed and never slowed down. I watched every video, read every book, and took every course I could. Below is a list of every resource I’ve learned from and where I’ve gotten my beliefs about markets.

My FX Learning Path

The following is a timeline of what I believe to be true about markets and where they are headed.

Cantillon's Essay - Written in 1755 still valid today. It introduces the "Cantillon Effect," where new money disproportionately benefits those closest to its source, causing inflation and wealth disparities. Economies fall when average people move into luxury lifestyles they can’t afford.

Modern Money Theory aka Quantitive Easing - Governments with sovereign control over their currency can issue money to fund public spending without reliance on taxes or borrowing, as they cannot default on debts denominated in their own currency. It emphasizes that fiscal policy should prioritize full employment and price stability, with money creation driving economic activity, while inflation is managed through taxation and other controls.“Endless Money Supply” (aka printing money).

Credible Threat TheoryA threat is effective in deterring or influencing behavior only if it is perceived as both credible and capable of being carried out. As long as there is always a credible threat (Covid, Tariffs, etc.) then financial rules can be bent and excess money can be printed.

Fiat v Crypto - Fiat is government-issued currency not backed by a physical commodity (like gold) and controlled by central banks. With cryptocurrencies, decentralized digital assets like Bitcoin operate on blockchain technology without central authority. Fiat relies on trust in government stability and is subject to monetary policy, while crypto emphasizes autonomy, transparency, and resistance to censorship but faces volatility and regulatory challenges.

UBI - UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME - UBI will be implemented right into users

NFTs & Tokenization - Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are unique digital assets stored on a blockchain, representing ownership of specific items like art, collectibles, or virtual goods with real-world utility. Tokenization involves converting real-world or digital assets into blockchain-based tokens, enabling fractional ownership, increased liquidity, and broader access to markets for assets like real estate or intellectual property.
